R/ VICTORI-Λ ΛVCCCΛ/ CONOB Victoire deb. à g., ten. une longue croix perlée. A d., une étoile à huit rayons. Belfort 5024 var. (Trésor de Chinon); M.E.C. I, 343-345 var.; coll. Kapamadji 1015 var.; Lacam pl. CVII-A. 4,44g Extrêmement rare.

Solidus frappé en Gaule, très probablement sous le règne de Clovis (481-511), imitant les solidi ostrogoths frappés en Italie par Théodoric au nom d'Anastase. L'émission du prototype byzantin cessa à Constantinople en 507. Le style est proche de celui de l'exemplaire illustré par Lacam et provenant du trésor de Chinon.
