R/ + XPC VINCIT XPC REGNAT XPC IMPERAT Croix fleuronnée dans un quadrilobe cantonné de trèfles. W. 465; Delm. 60. 3,59g Très rare.

Devenu duc de Brabant à la mort de Philippe de Saint-Pol, Philippe le Bon ordonna dans un premier temps de poursuivre l'émission des monnaies d'or ou d'argent avec les coins de son prédécesseur. Ce n'est qu'à partir de mars 1431 que le duc de Bourgogne fit frapper monnaie en Brabant à ses armes, en poursuivant à Louvain l'émission entamée sous Philippe de Saint-Pol: klinkaert et Pieter d'or, cromsteert et Pieter d'argent.
